Grown-up sheet · Level 2 · Clock Island · Big game

How to use it

  1. Watch the video together with your child. Don't give them the answer. If they stay quiet, wait for Pipo to say it.
  2. For each challenge, mark just one box:
    • ✓ if they answered on their own, before the circle emptied.
    • ½ if they answered late or with help.
    • ✗ if they didn't answer or got it wrong.
  3. Pause the video to write things down if you need to.
  4. At the end, look at the "What to review?" table.

What to watch for on this island:

  • First, second, third: ideally they count from the flag ("one, two, three: the third one!"). If they count from the other end of the row, they aren't using the starting point yet.
  • Before and after: "after" usually goes well (it's counting forward); "before" is harder. If they count everything from one to find the number before and get it right, mark ✓, but make a note.
  • Stories: ideally they explain why ("first is the seed because it hasn't grown yet").

What to review?

Rule: a block is mastered if the child got at least one challenge with ✓ and none with ✗.

· First, second, and third 1–2 Stop 1: "Learn" and "Play" (M12-S1-A, M12-S1-J1)
· Up to fifth 3–4 Stop 2: "Learn" and "Play" (M12-S2-A, M12-S2-J1)
· Before, after, and between 5–6 Stop 3: "Learn" and "Play more" (M12-S3-A, M12-S3-J2)
· Putting a story in order 7–8 Stop 4: "Learn" and "Play" (M12-S4-A, M12-S4-J1)
· Pipo made a mistake! 9–10 Stop 5: "Learn" and "Play" (M12-S5-A, M12-S5-J1)

What to do next:

  • Everything mastered: they can move on to the next island, Shapes and space.
  • One block not mastered: rewatch those videos for 2 or 3 days.
  • Two or more blocks not mastered: it's worth spending one more week on this island.

Common mistakes at this age:

  • Counting the places without the flag (challenges 1 to 4): they start counting from the other end or count the flag as "first." Have a toy race with a finish line and say who came in first.
  • Mixing up "fourth" and "fifth" (challenges 3 and 4): they're new words. Marking ½ is normal; use them while going up steps.
  • "Before" backwards (challenge 6): they say the number that comes after. Practice with the number line: "one step back."
  • Ordering by what they like best instead of by time (challenges 7 and 8). Ask them: "Can there be a flower without a seed?"
