Grown-up sheet · Level 3 · Clue Island · Big game
This is the seventh and last island of Level 3: right and left, paths with "forward" and "turn", "if… then" rules, and guess who.
How to use it
- Watch the video together with your child. Don't give them the answer. If they stay quiet, wait for Pipo to say it.
- For each challenge, mark just one box:
- ✓ if they answered on their own, before the circle emptied.
- ½ if they answered late or with help.
- ✗ if they didn't answer or got it wrong.
- Pause the video to write things down if you need to.
- At the end, look at the "What to review?" table.
What to watch for on this island:
- Right and left: these are from the child's point of view, as they see the screen. At this age it's still normal to hesitate; it's fine if they raise a hand to check.
- Forward and turn: the typical mistake is moving the chick when it turns. Turning isn't walking: it only changes which way the chick is facing.
- If… then: notice whether they understand that when no rule fits, you do nothing.
- Guess who: what matters is using both clues, not just the first one.

What to do next:
- Everything mastered: Level 3 is done! Before going on, it's a good idea to do the end-of-level check-up.
- One block not mastered: rewatch those videos for 2 or 3 days.
- Two or more blocks not mastered: it's worth spending one more week on this island. Right and left usually settles in around age 6 or 7: it doesn't need to be perfect to move on.
Common mistakes at this age:
- Mixing up right and left (challenges 1, 2, and 9): put a bracelet on their right hand for a week and ask "Which side is the bracelet on?"
- Moving the chick when it turns (challenges 3, 4, and 10): play robot: the child turns in place without taking steps, then moves forward.
- Doing something even when the rule doesn't fit (challenge 6): play "if I say red, jump"; with other colors, freeze!
- Using only the first clue (challenges 7 and 8): after each clue, cover with your hand whatever it can't be anymore.
